Stephin Merritt

Same as it Ever Was

So, there it is. A drawing of David Byrne. At the risk of going overboard, I'm going to post THREE accompanying music videos for your viewing pleasure. First, of course, the video for the Talking Heads' "Burning Down the House"...

Then, David Byrne's "Playing the Building" project, courtesy of BoingBoing TV...

And, Finally, Mr. Byrne guest-vocalling on the new single from the BPA (Fatboy Slim's latest thingy). Even if you don't like Fatboy Slim, this is totally worth watching. Trust me...

Ground Control to Mr. West

Speaking of the future, here is a portrait of Kanye West. He left his jetpack at home, unfortunately.

As a bonus, here's my favorite Kanye West music video, by Zach Galifianakis.

i love the knife

If you've never listened to their music, may I suggest starting with watching the video for "We Share Our Mother's Health"? What's that? You don't know where to find it? Oh, look at that. It's right here!

I promise this blog isn't going to turn into a fan-art site. At least not totally.
